We're recruiting for new trustees
Flock Charitable Trust, which has the governance responsibility for Hobson Street Theatre Company (HSTC), is seeking three new trustees, who will bring a mix of the following skills:
Knowledge of the community sector, including community arts
Applying a Te Tiriti-centred approach
Attracting and retaining funding, sponsorship and donors
Practical social work skills
General governance experience (desirable but not required)
Activator energy.
This is an opportunity to support us with our future direction, build capability and share in our vision.
We are seeking board members who are committed and able to be hands-on when required, and to volunteer their time and expertise to keep things running smoothly in the background.
If you are new to governance, we would encourage you to undertake an introductory course to understand the role of a trustee in your first few months in the role, and we will support you to identify and access this training.
Why join our board
This is a great opportunity to use your skills and expertise to contribute to the only organisation of its type in Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll have the chance to contribute to a values-driven kaupapa creating meaningful change, and collaborate with a supportive, interested, skilled board and small team of contractors.
You’ll be able to gain or deepen governance experience in the not-for-profit sector whilst bringing to life new ideas that meet the needs of others.
Established for fifteen years, HSTC is moving into a new phase of its development and needs new trustees who would like to build on the strong foundation already established.
